The team@awnews was established to generate content for AWNews. The team@awnews consists of Active Worlds citizens who manage and write for AWNews. team@awnews was called Volunteer@AWNews until the program offered free citizenships to its members. Below is the latest information on the team@awnews.

Maki acquired the Active Worlds News Organization from citizen Goober King in late 2003. Maki oversees all technical and design aspects of AWNews and publishes the content that is submitted to AWNews. Maki manages the team @ awnews program and conducts relations with team members.

Hyper Anthony
Lead Team Writer

Hyper Anthony's goal as an AWNews volunteer is to seek out the articles the rest of us don't. He writes about things that most citizens wouldn't usually be aware of. Hyper Anthony also offers important suggestions for the development of AWNews.

Kenneth
Advisor

Kenneth writes a variety of articles and provides insight upon the planning and development of certain aspects of AWNews. Ken also acts as a partial leader to the team @ awnews members and offers insight in the development of AWNews, when necessary.
