What's to Hunt When Nothing's Hidden?

05 EASTER HUNT - And so as the 8th Annual Multi-World Easter Egg Hunt passes by us, I'm left with a small amount of disappointment.  No fault of this lays on the Storage World team, who once again did an excellent job making sure Storage World had plenty of hidden eggs and innovations, but this is the fault of several worlds that participated.  I won't mention any names, but if you participated, you more than likely know where to point the finger.

What do I mean, you ask?  Well, to put it short, the egg-hiders from those worlds must not know what the word "hunt" means.  In aforementioned worlds, eggs were scattered across the landscape.  Not just any ordinary eggs either, oh no, these were literally 50+ point eggs meters from each other for many coordinates.  To put it into perspective for those of you who don't participate in the hunts, in the Christmas Hunt John Tirado scored 120,000 points after finding over at least 20,000 presents.  During this hunt, I hit 120K with little over 2000 eggs.

Where is the challenge in that?  And further more, how is the fair to the other worlds participating?  No one is gonna stick around in those worlds through the contest, no; their scattered eggs only give 2-6 points.  Oh, and Storage World, you actually have to work, go inside builds, or search to get anything decent!

Oh noes!

My question is, why did this happen?  The world owners from each of these worlds are fairly older citizens, and I'm sure they've seen a fair number of these hunts in their time as citizens.  Shouldn't they know that 50+ point eggs are usually at the very least not in your face, but instead out of sight right behind a flower or something?

To get to my point, I really wish worlds that participate would get more active in doing it.  Spreading eggs around and then giving them absolutely insane point values, which in turn ruins it for most of the other worlds, isn't what hunting is about, if you can even call it that.  Come on guys - let’s put some stuff behind a fireplace, on a roof, in a tree!

Because I'm sure you know it’s no fun to play egg-maid. ;)
